Devil Track River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Stairway Portage. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at East Bearskin Campground, and you're most likely hooked       on lakes, Fag Lake is one of those close by. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for Nighthawk Lake. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Lutsen; the South Lake Portage is a great hiking trail nearby.
