Nighthawk Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Nighthawk Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, East Bearskin Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Grand Marais. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Nighthawk Lake; South Lake Portage is a great local trail, and paddling on Cascade River is so much fun.

Good hiking is available along the Stairway Portage, and delightful scenery and wonderful skiing is what you obtain at Lutsen. High temperatures at Nighthawk Lake through the long summer days are in the 70's, and
during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's, and night lows at Nighthawk Lake through the winter ordinarily plunge into the-10's.
