A nice site to camp here at Negro Lake is Sunrise On Long Lake; during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington for sure. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Ramsey is a good spot to spend a night or two. If you get bored of Negro Lake, you could also explore close by Goose Lake, and a great close by hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Elk River.
