Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Pokegama Golf Course; do take a hike on the Skeeter Lake Trail System. High temperatures at Nagel Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's.       The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Nagel Lake are in the-20's. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Stevens Lake since you're here at Nagel Lake; it's close by, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Wendigo Lodge Golf Conference. There's so much to do here at Nagel Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Prairie Lake Campground is a great location for that; Budget Host Inn Grand Rapids                  is a fine spot to get some rest. An average amount of precipitation falls at Nagel Lake; during July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. You just have to love the Mesabi Range. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Mesabi Range. Nagel Lake is not the only spot nearby, Shoal Lake is a nearby lake, and Nagel Lake is right by the Suomi Hills Trail System.
