If you like lakes and you're in this part of Minnesota you can check out Myrtle Lake. Float down the rapids of Big Fork in a kayak; a delightful close by hotel is SUPER 8 MOTEL - INTERNATIONAL FALLS. Myrtle Lake is a good spot of common precipitation; most of the rain falls all through June; the driest of the months is February. | | down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 10's, and overnight lows during the winter for Myrtle Lake tend to be in the-20's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Wilson Lake Trail; a good place to camp here at Myrtle Lake is Thistledew Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Holstrum Spur Trail, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Myrtle Lake; Valley River Trail is a pleasant local trail.
