Go for a hike on the East Bad Medicine Trail, and if you get bored of Myrtle Lake you could also pop by close by Ways Lake. If you need a site to stay Cmon Inns Park Rapids is a perfect choice. During the warm months at Myrtle Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at       Myrtle Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. Myrtle Lake gets very little rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Going for a hike on the Otterkill Trail is always a perfect adventure. There's so much to do here at Myrtle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Ridge Campground is a glorious place for that.
