This lake is so wonderful. Murray Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Rest-a-while Resort and Bar is a glorious place to camp nearby; get yourself into a kayak and hit Sauk River. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Murray Lake; during the month of June you get the most rain around here,       and February is the month with the least moisture. If you come at the right time of year, Mississippi River offers some delightful whitewater. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Powder Ridge, and Carnelian Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Murray Lake rocks! You'll need more than a day to discover everything Murray Lake has to offer, you can camp at Timberwoods Resort & Campground,                  and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from St. Cloud for sure. At Murray Lake throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's.
