Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Mule Lake; the overnight is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 10's with winter lows in the-20's overnight here at Mule Lake. Why not camp at Sioux River Campground if you're here at Mule Lake, and Mule Lake is right by the Echo Trail.       A splendid site to camp here at Mule Lake is Camp Du Nord; the Stuart Portage offers hiking at its best. But wait, there's more to do close to Mule Lake. After a long day outdoors Grand Ely Lodge Resort and Conference Center is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. Mule Lake gets a common amount of rain; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
