This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Apple River, and Kelly Farms Dam is picturesque. An average amount of rainfall falls at Mud Lake; June is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Really good skiing awaits you at Wild Mountain; after       a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites STILLWATER is a delightful site to spend a night or two. If you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Forest Hills Golf Club, and if you have time to spare, Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is a national park worth a visit. There are other places here than Mud Lake, for example Maple Marsh Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit St. Croix River. Mud Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than                  a day at, Golden Acres is a wonderful local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Stillwater, Mn. Throughout the summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Mud Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 10's while Mud Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. Man, is there plenty of cool things to do close to Mud Lake. Lakes?
