If you need a site to stay Croixwood is a splendid choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mud Lake has to offer, you can camp at Northernaire Motel. High temperatures at Mud Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.       During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; nighttime lows at Mud Lake during the wintertime generally fall into the-10's.
