This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Tangnes Trail is wonderful fun; you can stay the night at Bemis Hill Campground. For the duration of the summer months at Mud Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's; the night is a little colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 0's while the cold winter nights at Mud Lake       are in the-20's. Going for a hike along the Gladens Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; Can Am Inn is a fine place to get some rest. Mud Lake is generally a rather dried out place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
