On a glorious day you can stop at Grass Lake, a swamp in the vicinity of Mud Lake, and North Oaks Golf Club is a golf course nearby. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Hyland Ski, and J Robinson Intensive Camps is a glorious local campground. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mud Lake. Really great skiing awaits you       at Buck Hill; Super 8 Motel - Arden Hills/Mpls/St. Paul Area is a magnificent place to get some rest. A typical amount of rain falls here at Mud Lake; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Island Lake; why not camp at Northernaire Motel while you're here at Mud Lake. You could also explore Lake Josephine if you're here at Mud Lake; it's close                  by, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington.
