If you need a location to stay Thumper Pond Resort is a pleasant choice, and while you're here and you like golf, you can visit Thumper Pond Golf Course. So many fun things to do here at Mud Lake, too tremendous to be true. Mud Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Shady Grove Resort is a great site to camp nearby. A charming lake like Buchanan Lake near Mud Lake is a fine location to have a       look at; Perham Super 8 Motel is a glorious place to get some rest. Mud Lake is not far at all from Fergus Falls, and Rush Lake Tent and Trailer Camp is a brilliant campground nearby. Summertime highs at Mud Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's; night lows through the wintertime for Mud Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Rush Lake                  Dam while you're here at Mud Lake; Round Lake is a great lake close by.
