If you like the outdoors, you'll fancy Mud Lake. There are other locations here than Mud Lake, for example Skunk Lake, and let's not forget Buckman Creek which is a stream that you may run into while here. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Mud Lake, and the night is somewhat colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's.       High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Mud Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from St. Cloud here; whitewater paddling is glorious on Mississippi River. An average amount of rainfall falls at Mud Lake; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Little Falls Super 8 Motel is a great location                  to spend a night or two, and Rice-Skunk Lakes is a great lake close by.
