And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in the vicinity of Mud Lake. If the weather is brilliant here at Mud Lake, you can go for a hike along the Wilson Lake Trail, and going for a hike along the Skeeter Lake Trail System will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably into lakes, Bass Lake is one of those nearby, and why                  not camp at Jko Campground if you're here at Mud Lake. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Mesabi Range.
