This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Camp Buckskin is a magnificent place to camp; an out of the ordinary thing to check out next to Mud Lake is Rice Lake Dam. An average amount of rain falls at Mud Lake; through June this area sees the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. So much amusing stuff to do here at Mud Lake, too splendid to be true. Why not spend some time golfing       at a nearby golf course like Hayden Hills Public Golf Course; dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Minneapolis-Maple Grove. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Lake is not far at all from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, and a lake close by is Rice Lake. Very pretty scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Buck Hill; Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites MAPLE GROVE NW MPLS-ARBOR LKS is a tremendous place to get some rest. Why not camp at Maple Grove Koa Kampground                  if you're here at Mud Lake; hey, Gotta ski right? Hyland Ski is a nice place to do that. Take a side visit to Diamond Creek, and Goose Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Summertime highs at Mud Lake typically tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's.
