Having a good time at Mud Lake is painless. The good people of Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington like to hang out close by, and dropping by Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. A nice place to camp here at Mud Lake is River Bend Mobile Home       Park, and you can go for a hike on the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. Mud Lake is a good place of normal rain; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Why not camp at Kozy Oaks Kamp if you're here at Mud Lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Castlewood Golf Course is always a pleasure. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Forest Lake, Mn is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and you'll discover a lovely                  lake called Higgins Lake. Through the warm days of summer here at Mud Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's.
