Go for a hike on the Echo Trail, and after a long day outdoors Grand Ely Lodge Resort And Conf Ctr is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Muckwa Lake. Near Muckwa Lake you discover the Stuart Portage which is a great hiking trail, and Silver Rapids Lodge Restaurant is a good campground nearby. Muckwa Lake       gets a normal amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Going for a hike on the Kelly Trail is always a perfect adventure, and Timber Wolf Lodge Cabins is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are magnificent; Bear Island Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Muckwa Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you                  can always go to nearby Purvis Lake, and don't forget to take a fine little spree to Beaver River. High temperatures at Muckwa Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 10's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Muckwa Lake plunge into the-20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Stony River offers some nice whitewater, and if you're here and you like golf, you can visit Babbitt Golf Course.
