All through the warm months at Mother Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's; nighttime lows at Mother Lake during the winter usually descend into the 0's. If you get bored of Mother Lake, you could also stop by close by Diamond Lake; hey, Gotta ski right? Hyland Ski is a good site to do that. This is no site for people who don’t like       to enjoy themselves. Swamps like Legion Lake in the vicinity of Mother Lake make for great sites to explore; Ramada Inn Mall of America is a glorious site to get some rest. Mother Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. Dry warm beds await you at Marriott Minneapolis Airport Bloomington, and camping at Lowry Grove is always a                  great experience. Camping is available at Town and Country Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Mississippi National River & Recreation Area, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here; Hiawatha Golf Course is a nice golf course close by.
