Moss Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Moss Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Cascade River is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Moss Lake; Best Western Superior Inn And Suites is a brilliant spot to get some rest.
Going for a hike on the Height of Land Portage is always a splendid adventure; in case you don’t have a problem

| | getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Devil Track River. Gateway-hungry Jack Lodge is a good campground nearby, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Lutsen is relatively near. Near Moss Lake you come across the Stairway Portage which is a pleasant hiking trail; Moss Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, East Bearskin Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby.

time of the year are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Moss Lake plunge
into the-10's. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Moss Lake. The South Lake Portage is a nice hiking trail right next door to Moss Lake, and a great nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Grand Marais.
