Sea Gull River flows through this neighborhood. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Morris Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sawbill Campground. James Bay is relatively in close proximity to Morris Lake, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Gneiss Lake Portage.       The amount of precipitation that falls at Morris Lake is close to the national average; through August this area sees the most rain while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Morris Lake is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Gunflint Pines is a tremendous spot to camp nearby; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Maraboeuf Lake Portage. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Morris                  Lake get into the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Morris Lake. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Prayer Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; going for a hike along the Gneiss Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
