Hiking along the Elmwood Island Trail System is magnificent fun, and camping at Middle Pigeon River Campground is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Noma Lake Campground and Picnic Area; going for a hike along the Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. For the duration of the warmest time of the year       at Moose Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's, and night lows during the winter for Moose Lake tend to be in the-10's. Moose Lake is a good place of typical rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
