Lakes are pleasant; Schmidt Lake is a lake that's right next door to Moore Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Buffalo Heights Golf Club not far from Moore Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Lake Charlotte. If you came for an overnight stay Shady River Campgrounds is a good spot to camp, and a glorious close       by hotel is Country Inn By Carlson Buffalo. The warmest time of the year at Moore Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Moore Lake.
