This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Oak Lake Golf Course; do stop by Badger Lake Dam if you're here. Do visit Badger Lake near Mitchell Lake, it's a scenic lake; you can stay the night at Lakeside RV Park.       A tremendous close by hotel is Super 8 Fosston. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Mitchell Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Mitchell Lake are in the-10's.
