There's so much to do here at Missouri Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crescent Lake Campground is a splendid spot for that, and after a long day outdoors Caribou Highlands Lodge is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Missouri Lake during the long summer days are in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets       highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Missouri Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Missouri Lake you can take a hike along the Rib Lake Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Missouri Lake has to offer, you can camp at Poplar River Campground; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Lutsen. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Missouri Lake. Dry warm beds                  await you at Americinn - Tofte, Mn, and drift down the rapids of Poplar River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. On a splendid day at Missouri Lake you can take a hike along the Pine Portage, and Manymoon Lake is a perfect lake nearby. Going for a hike along the Honeymoon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you come at the right time of year, Temperance River offers some brilliant whitewater. From a rainfall point of view Missouri Lake is a relatively common spot; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February.
