This lake is so wonderful. This is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes. Little Rush Lake is a lake in close
proximity. There's so much to do here at Misplaced Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cascade River Campground is a great place for that. Summertime highs at Misplaced Lake typically tend to be in the 70's, and the nighttime
is slightly cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 10's with temperatures at Misplaced Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.

| Echo is a nice lake to stop and drop a line when in the Schroeder tofte area. It is just up the road from Nine mile lake campground and has an easy to catch supply of small trout. I have only been there in the winter waiting for the mushers to come through (for the Beargease Marathon), it is where I want my ashes to be. I missed one year of the Beargrease race (1998) but the next year I was there at Two Island it was a full moon and it was snowing at the same time, could see down the trail like it was daylight but it was snowing....that was my sign...like I didn't fall in love with it before...this is a beautiful place, small camground but nice in the summer. jkf... |
