Not much rain falls here at Mill Lake; throughout June this area sees the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Andes Tower Hill, and needless to say Bly Creek is a scenic stream that is worth checking out. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mill Lake. Once the sun is down       it falls down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 10's while Mill Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mill Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mill Lake Resort, and Mill Lake is not the only spot close by, Grill Lake is a close by lake. There's so much to do here at Mill Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sun Valley Resort and Camping is                  a great location for that, and if you've had enough of Mill Lake, Wolf Lake is close by. You'll meet a lot of people from Alexandria here, and after a long day outdoors Lakes Area Motel and RV Park is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things right next door to Mill Lake.
