This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Mankato is a magnificent choice, and Middle Lake is a place with many visitors from Mankato-North Mankato. During the summertime months highs here at Middle Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into       the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Middle Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. Stay the night at Shady Oaks Campground; not far from Middle Lake you'll come across Duck Lake which is a beautiful lake. Mankato Inn is a perfect place to get some rest; there are swamps here too, Little Lake is close by. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do close to Middle Lake. Middle                  Lake is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Cedar Grove Camp Ground is a nice site to camp nearby. Lakes? Sure, Middle Lake is around here.
