Middle Island Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. At Middle Island Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's; during the dark hours in the winter at Middle Island Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. Not far from       Middle Island Lake, you'll hit upon North Island Lake which is a picturesque lake, and you can stay the night at Sun Set Resort. Any time is a fine time at Middle Island Lake if you like the outdoors. If you need a place to stay Americinn - Walker, Mn is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Middle Island Lake, for example South Island Lake, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Bull Moose Trail. Going for                  a hike on the Howard Lake Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Middle Island Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Pine Mountain Manor Campground is a good spot to camp nearby.
