Mead Lake is a lake worth visiting. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Hiking along the Wilson Lake Trail is good fun, and Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Big Fork for all you thrill seekers. There's so much to do here at Mead Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Thistledew Campground is a nice spot for that. | | Valley River Trail, and you'll discover a pretty lake called Candy Lake. High temperatures at Mead Lake through the months of summer are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Mead Lake dipping down into the-20's all through winter nights.
