If you came to camp Anoka County Activities Center is a great place to do that, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Coon Rapids, Minnesota is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. McKay Lake is a spot with many visitors from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, and of course, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Bunker Lake is a lake around here. This lake is so wonderful. Mississippi       National River & Recreation Area is a pleasant local destination here at McKay Lake. Lakes are magnificent; Crooked Lake is a lake that's close to McKay Lake. Through the warm months at McKay Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while McKay Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Sand Creek is a stream that you may encounter while you're here, and                  gorgeous scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Hyland Ski. A great nearby hotel is Country Suites By Carlson Coon Rapids, and while you're here you can play some golf at Majestic Oaks Golf Club. This site rules, just check out all the exciting stuff to do close to McKay Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Buck Hill since you're here, and McKay Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Bunker Hills Campground is a great local campground.
