This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites STILLWATER, and there's whitewater on Apple River for all you adrenaline junkies. Mays Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.       Americas Best Value Inn is a great site to get some rest, and camping at Golden Acres is always a delightful experience. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the warm months here at Mays Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; nighttime lows at Mays Lake during the wintertime generally plunge into the 0's. Camping is available at Yogi                  Bear's Jellystone Camp, and the slopes of Wild Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Mays Lake. Gotta ski! Trollhaugen is a great location to do that; Mays Lake is not the only site nearby, Terrapin Lake is a nearby lake.
