This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Wedgewood is always a great experience, and there are good sites to explore along the County Road 50 Trail System. Good hiking is available along the Shingobee Trails. At Lake May all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's. For the period of       the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's; nighttime lows in the-10's for Lake May. At Lake May you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls throughout June, and the driest month is February. Lake May is great enough to spend more than a day at, Acorn Hill Resort and RV Sites is a great local campground; a splendid nearby hotel is Chase on the Lake Resort.
