After a long day outdoors Americinn - North Branch, Mn is a magnificent place to spend a night or two; if you came for an overnight stay Blue waters Leisure Park is a great location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Trollhaugen is just what you need. From a rain point of view Lake Mattson is a reasonably normal place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that       rains the most while February is regularly the driest month. Green Lake is a perfect lake right next door to Lake Mattson, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Chisago Lakes Golf Course. This place, Lake Mattson, it just has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Point Pleasant is not far from Lake Mattson at all, and paddling on St. Croix River is so much fun. Throughout the summertime highs here at Lake Mattson reach the 80's, and                  during the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Lake Mattson. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Wild Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; a spree to Saint Croix National Scenic River is recommended. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Inn-Stes N. Branch, and Hillcrest RV Park is a great campground nearby.
