At Markley Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Markley Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is great at Buck       Hill. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Markley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Town & Country Campground. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Savage; an afternoon playing golf at Wilds Golf Club & Pub is always a joy. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are truly bountiful here at Markley Lake. Markley Lake is not the only site close by, Lower Prior Lake is a close by lake; after a long day outdoors Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is a fine site                  to spend a night or two. Head up to Hyland Ski and strap some skis to your feet. If you get bored of Markley Lake, you could also take a look at close by Cleary Lake; Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is a fine site close by.
