Comfort Inn Lakeville is a great site to get some rest, and everyone close by loves skiing at Hyland Ski. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Marion Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Marion Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Marion Lake is not far at all from Faribault-Northfield. From a rainfall point of view Marion Lake is a reasonably typical place; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. There are 15 lakes within 20 minutes from here. We have added some very nice tent sites that are separated from the RV's by evergreen trees, very private and woodsy setting. Some sites also have water and electric.
Our season is April thru mid- October....
Camp Faribo is a full-service RV resort and Campground. We are located about 45 miles south of the Twin Cities, just off 35W exit 56 in Faribault, Minnesota. We are a Good Sam Park, see our ad in the Trailer Life Camping Book. We have grass and shade trees, and a 55 foot heated swimming pool. There's always a perfect lift for everyone in the family....Afton Alps has so many runs, you'll never get bored. Great skiing for the whole family, mainly easy runs but there are a few hard ones too.
