If you came for an overnight stay Cokato Lake Country Campground is a nice site to camp, and since       you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Collinwood Lake. Maple Lake is a good place of typical rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. There's some flowing water close by, Silver Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and why not camp at Collinwood Lake Park if you're here at Maple Lake. Through the summertime months highs here at Maple Lake reach the                  80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Maple Lake throughout the winter ordinarily drop into the 0's. A round of golf at nearby Cokato Town & Country Club is a great way to kill some time. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be.
