From a precipitation point of view Man Lake is a quite normal site; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the warm months at Man Lake highs are generally in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's with temperatures at Man Lake dipping down       into the-10's all through winter nights. If the weather is pleasant here at Man Lake, you can go for a hike along the Goose Lake Trail System; if you get bored of Man Lake you could also check out nearby McKeown Lake. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Man Lake has it all. Austin's Swamp is a perfect campground nearby; the Lake Erin Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Rodeway Inn                  Pine River is a magnificent choice, and you'll perhaps meet some folks from Brainerd here. After a long day outdoors Trappers Landing Lodge is a great location to spend a night or two, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the North Country Trail.
