There are perfect locations to discover along the Pine Portage. Summertime at Magnetic Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Magnetic Lake are in the-10's. Little Rock Falls is always fun to check out, and       obviously, this is a great area for folks who like lakes, Kerfoot Lakes is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant close by hotel is Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains, and why not a little side tour to Cross River. Man, is there a heap of exciting things to do right next door to Magnetic Lake. Magnetic Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Baker Lake Campground is a perfect place to camp nearby; since you might be in                  a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Pogo Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Magnetic Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls all through August, and the driest of the months is February.
