A magnificent location to camp here at Magnetic Lake is Baker Lake Campground, and don't leave Magnetic Lake without first going for a hike along the Pine Portage. This place, Magnetic Lake, it simply has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Little Rock Falls is an inspiring place to explore during your stay; great hiking is available along the Rib Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful.       If you like skiing, you're in luck; Lutsen is next to Magnetic Lake; don't forget to take a great little tour to Cross River. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Magnetic Lake; Granite River Portage is a glorious local trail, and Magnetic Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Gunflint Pines is a fine local campground. All through the summertime, highs generally are in the 70's at Magnetic Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. For the period of the                  winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Magnetic Lake temperatures sink to the-10's.
