There's so much to do here at Mabel Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mabel Lake Campground is a great location for that. If you need a location to stay Trappers Landing Lodge is a great choice. If the weather is glorious here at Mabel Lake, you can go for a hike along the Mud Lake Trail System; Swift River is in the neighborhood of Mabel Lake and is always       a joy to visit. At Mabel Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Mabel Lake. Mabel Lake is pretty waterless mostly; the month with most of the rain is June, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mabel Lake you can take                  a hike along the North Country Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Ridgewood Golf Course & Country Club. So many fun things to do at Mabel Lake, so little time. Mabel Lake is not far at all from Brainerd, and the Johnson Lake Trail System is a delightful hiking trail close by. Mabel Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Andersen's Four Seasons Resort is a great local campground, and possibly you're looking for nearby lakes?
