Hiking along the Snake Trail is wonderful fun, and do pop by Shannon Lake, it's a charming lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Mesabi Range. Get wet paddling on Sturgeon River, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Hibbing is a perfect choice. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Luna Lake. Shannon River is a nice place to pop by, and after a                  long day outdoors Hibbing Park Hotel is a great place to spend a night or two. If the weather is delightful here at Luna Lake, you can go for a hike along the Link Lake Trail; you'll come across a gorgeous lake called Shoepack Lake. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Luna Lake highs are commonly in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Luna Lake sink into the-10's. There's so much to do here at Luna Lake that you need to camp here for a while, C C Campground 717 is a pleasant place for that; soar down the rapids of Little Fork River in a kayak.
