It's always fun to stop by Lum Lake. The annual rain here at Lum Lake is about average; most of the rain falls during August while February is regularly the driest month. If you need a place to stay Caribou Highlands Lodge is a wonderful choice, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Stairway Portage. Have a good hiking adventure along the Height of Land Portage, and Super 8 Motel - Grand Marais is a pleasant location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lum Lake. Going for a hike along the South Lake Portage will let you absorb the
natural beauty of this neighborhood, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Lutsen. Little Rush Lake is a good lake close to Lum Lake; camping at Gateway-hungry Jack Lodge is always a brilliant experience.
