Dry warm beds await you at The Mountain Inn, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cascade River. Camping is available at Gateway-hungry Jack Lodge; a glorious place for whitewater paddling is Cascade River. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Why not camp at Cascade River Campground if you're here at Lum Lake; there's nice hiking along the Stairway Portage. This lake is so wonderful. Lum Lake gets a typical amount of rain; most of the rain falls through August; February

Echo Lake
 | Echo is a nice lake to stop and drop a line when in the Schroeder tofte area. It is just up the road from Nine mile lake campground and has an easy to catch supply of small trout. Don't look for a big meal here but it is a fun and easy place to have the kids wet a line....Echo is a nice lake to stop and drop a line when in the Schroeder tofte area.
