There's so much to do here at Lower Pigeon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Middle Pigeon River Campground is a brilliant spot for that; don't forget to visit Mallard Bay while you're here. Lower Pigeon Lake gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's       the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the South Highbanks Trail System; Trappers Landing Lodge is a perfect place to get some rest. All through the summertime highs here at Lower Pigeon Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at                  Lower Pigeon Lake plunge into the-10's.
