Lower Hunt Lake is frequently a reasonably dried out spot; during June this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Berndt's Kamp Kappy Resort is a delightful local campground, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Pine Ridge Golf Course. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Alexandria MN is a wonderful       location to spend a night or two. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Lower Hunt Lake. You don’t have to go far from Lower Hunt Lake to spot the water at Upper Hunt Lake Dam, and Upper Hunt Lake is a magnificent lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little visit to Hoplin Creek while you're here at Lower Hunt Lake, and what would winter be without some skiing at Andes Tower Hill. Lower Hunt Lake is a delightful place to visit for more                  than one day, Wildridge Campgrounds is a delightful place to camp nearby, and lakes are such calm places, why not go to Upper Hunt Lake.
