Many people like to go to Loven Lake. Summertime highs at Loven Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's while Loven Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Deer Creek; after a long day outdoors Hibbing Super 8 Motel is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.

| | June is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Little Fork River, and Hibbing Park Hotel is a glorious place to get some rest. So many entertaining things right next door to Loven Lake, definitely incredible. There are other locations here than Loven Lake, for example Clearwater Lake, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Stingy Lake Trail.

So much cool stuff in the Mesabi Range, just impressive. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sturgeon River; you can stay the night at Pine Beach Resort RV Park. The Snake Trail is a good hiking
trail in the neighborhood of Loven Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Loven Lake has to offer, you can camp at C C Campground 717. And that's not everything you can do here in the Mesabi Range. Rat Lake is a great
lake close to Loven Lake, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Link Lake Trail.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Mesabi Range.

There is plenty to do at the resort too. Swan Lake is known for its water clarity throughout the summer. Fishing is almost always good with a healthy supply of sunfish, crappies, northern and walleyes. Largemouth bass are definitely the most sought after fish the past few years with most of them released again after they are weighed and their picture is taken for our ''fishing report'' board. Our swimming area is safely marked off with no dangerous drop offs. We have plenty of sand for sunbathing and sandcastle building.
When you're not in or on the water you can play volleyball, badminton, ''fun'' frisbee golf, basketball, pitch horseshoes or play bocce ball. All recreational equipment can be checked out at no charge. Our game room is always busy with kids playing pinball or pool. At our convenience store you'll be able to pick up basic groceries, ice cream, pizzas, snacks, ice, fishing licenses, tackle, and night crawlers. We also carry unleaded gas and motor oil. We have hiking trails ... |
