Hiking along the Kelly Trail is magnificent fun. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Louis Lake. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Stony River. Lakes are pleasant; Mudro Lake is a lake that's near Louis Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Alruss Lake, and swing       by Range River it's a good place to pop by. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Louis Lake reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; night lows at Louis Lake during the winter typically drop into the-10's.
