Lost Lake is not far at all from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, and after a long day outdoors Best Western White Bear Country Inn is a great location to spend a night or two. Gotta ski! Afton Alps is a brilliant spot to do that; dry warm beds await you at Croixwood. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Lost Lake; through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. Just can't get enough of Lost Lake. Golf can be played at Manitou
