Camping at Lost Lake is fine fun, Northernaire Motel is a fine local campground, and Afton Alps is a very popular ski area close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Vermilion River, and Lost Lake is not the only location nearby, Echo Lake is a nearby lake. This spot rules, just check out all the amusing things to do in close proximity to Lost Lake. For you golfers we recommend nearby Manitou       Ridge Golf Course, and if you need a location to stay Motels By Gudim is a pleasant choice. Summertime highs at Lost Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Lost Lake. Lost Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; most of the rain falls all through June; the driest month of the year is February. Lost Lake is a site with many                  visitors from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, and St Paul East KOA is a wonderful campground here.
