Gotta ski! Afton Alps is a brilliant spot to do that; dry warm beds await you at Croixwood. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Lost Lake; through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. Just can't get enough of Lost Lake. Golf can be played at Manitou       Ridge Golf Course; Vermilion River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. The panoramas at Mississippi National River & Recreation Area will blow your mind, and Lost Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Northernaire Motel is a tremendous place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lost Lake has to offer, you can camp at St Paul East KOA, and you're possibly addicted to lakes,                  Long Lake is one of those nearby.
