A tour to Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is recommended. From a rainfall point of view Lost Lake is a rather normal site; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Radisson Hotel And Conference Center Minneapolis is a nice location to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Parkers Lake is close by. Camping at Brainerd       International is always a good experience, and the skiing at Buck Hill is delightful. At Lost Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's; the overnight is a little cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lost Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Hyland Ski is just what you need, and playing golf is lots of fun at New Hope                  City New Hope Village Golf Course. Fish Lake is a magnificent lake near Lost Lake; if you're stopping by from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, you won't be the only one. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Lost Lake.
