Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Duluth/Proctor, Mn, and Lost Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Knife Island Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby. If you need a spot to stay Duluth Spirit Mountain Red Roof Inn is a tremendous choice, and you need to visit Oldenburg Point since you're here. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody

| | but if it's for you then we recommend St. Louis River; Spirit Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. Golf can be played at Pine Hill Golf Course, and if you're here, you could also stop by picturesque Thomson Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. It's a nice idea to have a look at Gill Creek, it's near Lost Lake, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Midway River. the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 10's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Lost Lake tend to be in the-10's. The yearly precipitation here at
Lost Lake is about average; June is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Do pop by Forbay Lake close to Lost Lake, it's a delightful lake; Buffalo Valley Camping is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful.

We are always listed as a resort with cabin rentals. our 7 site seasonal campground that has not had an opening for several years, so it is never listed under campgrounds.  | 17 miles away The river is at least 100 miles long. I've paddled from Katherine Lake to the St. Louis River and there is plenty of river to paddle besides the section from US 53 to US 2. The top section, from Katherine Lake to Lake Co #2 is an especially wild ride, and I've only done it once, but the drop is incredible, sometimes like a logging flume.... |
