A good nearby hotel is Americinn - Duluth/Proctor, Mn; Forbay Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Midway River for all you adrenaline people, and Pine Hill Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby. There are some tremendous       whitewater spots on St. Louis River. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Buffalo Valley Camping is a great place for that. If you get bored of Lost Lake, you could also have a look at close by Thomson Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Duluth-South is a good site to spend a night or two. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Lost Lake. Some                  of the water close by flows, like Gill Creek; Oldenburg Point is an interesting thing to catch a glimpse of if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lost Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Lost Lake are in the-10's.
