What a nice lake Loon Lake is. If you're here at Loon Lake, do take a journey to East Loon Bay, and Vermilion River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. The Echo Trail is a good hiking trail in close proximity to Loon Lake; a quick trip to Little Indian Sioux River is unquestionably a magnificent idea. During the warm months highs here at Loon Lake get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are

| | usually in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-20's to Loon Lake. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Loon Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Lake Jeanette Campground is a good place to camp nearby. There is a good hiking trail close to Loon Lake called the Canfield Portage. gets a common amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during June while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Loon Lake you can take a hike along the Beatty Portage, and a great nearby hotel is Elbow Lake Lodge.
