If you are in St. Louis county it's always a good idea to stop by Longyear Lake. The yearly precipitation here at Longyear Lake is about average; throughout June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Mesabi Range will keep you coming back over and over. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Hibbing Park Hotel is a pleasant choice, and you can stay the night at Pine Beach Resort RV Park. Yeah, come here to Longyear Lake for a fine time. Get covered with water paddling on Sturgeon River, and Hibbing Super 8 Motel is a delightful place to get some rest. Longyear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Mesabi Range.

kayak; Douglas Tailings Dike has nice water scenery. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Mesaba Country Club, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Snake Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Mesabi
Range for a delightful time. While you're here at Longyear Lake you can take a hike along the Stingy Lake Trail; there are other locations here than Longyear Lake, for example Douglas Tailings Basin.
